Meeting with Stakeholder from Pakistan about Recommendations on MEP & Graduate Model of School


On April 12, 2022 ADAM University School of Medicine had a meeting Stakeholder from Pakistan for taking recommendations on our Main Education Program (MEP, 5 year MBBS) and Graduate Model of School (GMS). Dr. Muneeb Athar Assistant Professor from Avicenna Medical College and Adjunct Faculty University of Health Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan joined us in our Virtual Conference Room (403). Jazgul Tashtanova Vice Dean, Parishta Jolueva Head of Morphological Department, Dr. Azmat and Dr. Abdullah also joined the meeting with the stakeholder.


During an hour long meeting with Dr. Muneeb, MEP and GMS were discussed and he gave his comments and recommendations for the programs in view of education of students from Pakistan. The following recommendations were made for Graduate Model of School.


1. Professional competencies must include History taking methods of medical students.

2. More focus on Doctor- Patient relationship, which would maintain the privacy of patients.

3. Research activities must include monthly journal club in which we can discuss International research papers. This will encourage newcomers and upgrade level of research.


Following comments were given by Dr. Muneeb Athar from Pakistan after reviewing Main Education Program (MEP).


1. Curriculum of ADAM University, School of Medicine is highly professional and up to the mark.

2. Division of subjects and credit hours are justified.

3. The best thing of ADAM University School of Medicine MEP and GMS is that it included socio-personal and cultural competences, which is a modern method of teaching.
