On February 15, 2024, one of the key events of educational and scientific activities is taking place at the Sheraton Hotel – the forum «Certification and validation of competencies: new horizons of the labor market», organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, within which the rector, national expert on the reform of higher education Sirmbard S. R. is the moderator. 

The purpose of the forum is to discuss the current situation and prospects for the development of certification and validation of competencies to expand opportunities for the development of the labor market and the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic.

This event was not without an in-depth discussion of problems related to understanding the importance and relevance of the development of certification and validation of competencies, in addition, the mechanisms of strategic partnership between the main stakeholders involved in the certification process of informal and informal learning were touched upon.
